Surprisingly, this is not unusual. Sometimes, a package will be marked as delivered by the shipping carrier prematurely. If you receive the delivery email but have not received your package, here is what we suggest:
- If your package shows a delivered status but you can't find it, your carrier may have placed it in a safer location. Please check:
- Garage
- With others in your household
- Mailbox - Packages may come separately from your regular mail; check again later in the day
- Porch
- Areas protected from weather
- Areas out of street view, such as under a mat or near a back entrance
- Exterior doors and any locations where the package could be placed
If you have a multi-unit community mailbox and there is a key in your regular mail compartment, your package is in a parcel locker. Check the key tag for the corresponding locker number and open that locker. If you live in an apartment/condo, contact your building's management office to see if the package was left with them.
- USPS delivery vehicles use GPS that can automatically update a package as "delivered" prematurely. Please wait another business day, as the package could have been marked as delivered by mistake, and will arrive the following day or so.
- Be sure you entered the correct address during checkout. The shipping information you enter during checkout is automatically transferred to the post office. Eventually, this will be returned to our warehouse and we can resend it then.
- If you still haven't received the package and it's been over 24 hours, Contact your local USPS post office. Make sure you contact your LOCAL post office, and not the USPS hotline. Your local post office will be able to provide quicker, and better service. Ask who delivered the package, and ask for the details of that day's delivery. USPS is used to these questions, and will generally provide helpful information.
